Stackridge - The Man in the Bowler Hat

STACKRIDGE were my favourite band in 1975. Judi and I must have seen them 5 or 6 times in the space of a year. Two of these gigs were in my hometown at Triad and the Rhodes Centre. My favourite track was THE GALLOPING GAUCHO from the brilliant album THE MAN IN THE BOWLER HAT. They are perhaps best known for their hit DO THE STANLEY, but JAMES WARREN left the band to complete his studies and emerged with the KORGIS and the mega hit EVERYBODY'S GOTTA LEARN SOMETIME.
