Strawbs and Rick Wakeman - Ghosts

By the mid 70's the STRAWBS had grown to become my favourite band, but it was their album GHOSTS and the albums they did before it that truly hooked me. DAVE COUSINS drifted slowly from folk music to folk/rock over that period and did it with style. RICK WAKEMAN played with the STRAWBS for awhile - and he also went on to great things, rivalling KEITH EMERSON in the keyboard maestro race. DAVE COUSINS had the look and voice perfectly suited to the role of sheriff of Nottingham, but his lyrics flowed with compassion, empathy and warmth.
This video clip is a real find. RICK WAKEMAN and DAVE COUSINS in 1969.
